PlainPDF does not require an account or email for core tools.

File handling

Functional MVP tools process selected files in your browser. Files are not uploaded to PlainPDF servers. Closing or resetting the tool clears the selection from the page. Informational tools do not accept files.

Analytics

Google Analytics collects usage and device information. Microsoft Clarity may also collect usage and device information when configured. Tool events may include tool name, page, file type, broad file-size bucket, broad processing-time bucket, device type, referrer source, and error type.

Analytics events do not intentionally include file names, file contents, extracted document text, email addresses, or account data.

Cookies

Google Analytics may set cookies. Microsoft Clarity may also set cookies when configured. The site itself does not use account or advertising cookies.

Technical logs

Deployment providers may record standard request metadata such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and user agent. Document contents are not sent through the functional browser-side tools.
